A walk-off home run led Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions past FCA Georgia Softball 7-5 on Thursday. The game was tied at five with Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions Varsity batting in the bottom of the eighth when Cassie Boatright homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Boatright led Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions to victory by driving in four runs. She went 3-for-3 at the plate. Boatright drove in runs on a sacrifice fly in the third, a single in the sixth, and a home run in the eighth.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, LCA trailing by one run, with a runner on second base and two outs, senior Megan Harris came up with the biggest hit of her career, driving in Molly Biesiadecki to force extra innings.

Hannah Starling took the win for Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions. She went eight innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, striking out six and walking zero.

Morgan Nabors took the loss for FCA Georgia Softball. She allowed seven hits and seven runs over seven and a third innings, striking out 12.
