V Boys Basketball @ George Walton Academy
The Lions began region play on Tuesday at George Walton. A low scoring first quarter of 8-4 set the tone for what looked to be a defensive battle. Both teams scored it more in the second quarter with Christopher Woods and Drake Kucharik adding baskets. The Lions went into halftime down 23-18. Each team went on runs in the third quarter, but it was George Walton's defensive pressure that provided the ultimate difference. Freshman Bariate Kara led the Lions in scoring with 11 points followed by Christopher Woods and Kucharik finishing with 8.
