JV Swim Meet Recap

Congratulations to Makenna and Azalea as our first 1-2 sweep in any JV Girls swimming event! McKenna is our first JV Girl to win an event at the JV Swimming Championships. We had excellent swims by all four lady lions. Huge congratulations to everyone that made this possible. Major thanks to Dianne for coordinating all of the meet entries for this 2021 GISA Varsity and Junior Varsity Championship Swim Meet. LCA contributed in so many ways to make this swim season a success for the entire State of Georgia, in many different leagues. It truly was a great JV Championship meet and a tremendously successful season for our LCA Lions Swim Team.

Season Opener Swim Meet @ Georgia Aquatic Center

Lions Swimming had an excellent showing in our first swim meet of the season this weekend at the Georgia Aquatic Center. The Lady Lions were led by Isabelle Gary, Addie Godfrey, Azalea Snell, McKenna Thacker and Olivia Williams with excellent results in their first school swimming events of the 2020 season. The Men's Swimming team was equally well represented with outstanding finishes by Anthony King, Adrian Gonzalez, Caden Lanier & Teagan Swanepoel. Expecting continual improvements from the team as a whole as the season progresses. Wish the Lions Swimmers good luck in their next swim meet this coming weekend in Adairsville. Go Lions!
