LCA opened its tennis season with an away match to Prince Avenue. We fought hard and had some really close matches in #1 Boys with Cole Taylor and #1 Girls doubles with Molly Biesiadecki and Kennadi Morton.
For many of the team it was their first high school tennis match and they learned a lot and are looking to improve this season.
The tennis team faced Walnut Grove for its first match of the new season. The girls lost 3-2, but had victories by Bella Watkins and the doubles team of Ansley Maddox and Addi Grace Dennis. The boys team fell also 3-2, but had victories by Jayse Waters and the doubles team of Cole Taylor and Ethan Dudik. Several of the players played their first match of their young high school career and represented LCA very well! Way to go LCA Tennis!
LCA Tennis battled BCA Thursday afternoon. Bella Watkins notched her first win as a first year tennis player. Jordyn Towns and Kayla Morris also won their doubles match in a tie breaker. #wearelca #lcatennis
