Loganville Christian Academy was victorious over Peachtree Academy, 8-3 and push their record to 7-1 on the season.
The Lions scored three runs in the sixth inning. LCA’s offense in the inning was led by Dalton Strickland, Allen Brown, and Chantz McClendon, all knocking in runs.
Brown went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Loganville Christian Academy in hits.
Brown led things off on the pitcher's mound for the Lions. He allowed one hit and zero runs over one inning, walking zero. Chantz McClendon pitched 3 innings to earn the win for the Lions. J.R. Curley closed out the game with 3 innings of work from the bump. He also scored 3 runs for the Pride.
The Lions have a busy week ahead with three away games. They travel to Community Christian (non-region) Monday, March 25, Bethlehem Christian Tuesday, March 26 and John Milledge Academy on Thursday, March 28 to round out region play for the week.
