Loganville Christian Academy Lions Take A Tough Blow From Deerfield-Windsor

It was a tough day on Thursday for Loganville Christian Academy Lions, who lost 12-2 to Deerfield-Windsor

Loganville Christian Academy Lions got on the board in the first inning when an error scored one run for the Lions.

Deerfield-Windsor pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Bo Bueschen singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, Drew Dixon singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and Jack Kimbrel singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Deerfield-Windsor scored five runs in the third inning. The big inning for Deerfield-Windsor came thanks to singles by Cole MitchellBueschen, and Kimbrel, by Clarke Sullivan, and an error on a ball put in play by Dixon.

Kimbrel pitched Deerfield-Windsor to victory. He lasted five innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out five. Joe Morgan threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Allen Brown took the loss for the Lions. He lasted two and a third innings, allowing eight hits and six runs while striking out two and walking one.

Ean Snell went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead the Lions in hits.

Deerfield-Windsor totaled 13 hits. KimbrelBueschen, and Dixon each racked up multiple hits for Deerfield-Windsor. Kimbrel led Deerfield-Windsor with four hits in five at bats.
