Loganville Christian Academy Lions easily did away with Discovery 18-4 on Friday. The Lions fired up the offense in the first inning and scored two runs on a stolen base.
The Lions tallied six runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught by the Lions was led by Cole Yancey, Dalton Strickland, Stone McCarty, and Jesse Cash, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Allen Brown was on the mound for the Lions. He surrendered two runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out four.
The Lions tallied 12 hits. Cash, Brown, Douglas Janney, and A.J. Bagwell all managed multiple hits. Cash went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Lions in hits.
