LCA Rodeo team opened up the season on Saturday, March 17 at the Georgia Mountain Association State Show Qualifier posted by Mountain Stream Saddle Club in Maysville, Georgia.
Competition was fierce, as the Rodeo team competed against teams from all over North Georgia, with close to 400 competitors across age groups. LCA Rodeo placed in the top 10 in their age group divisions in cones, pole bending, stakes race, arena race and cloverleaf barrels.
Congratulations to Reese Banaszek and her horse, Pepper, for placing 3rd overall in arena race! Way to go Lions! The Rodeo team will travel to Stephens, Georgia to compete at the Oglethorpe County Saddleclub on Saturday, March 24.
