Loganville Christian Academy Plays Top Teams in Their League

On September 5 and 7, the Lions played Buford Middle School and Hebron Christian Academy, the top-ranked schools in their league.  “Going into this week, we knew we were facing our toughest matches of the season.  We weren’t able to get a win, but the girls learned some things that will hopefully help them improve for our next matches,” said Coach Drobny.  The Lady Lions A-Team lost to Buford 12-25, 7-25 and to Hebron 11-25, 5-25.

The Lions B-Team started the week with a loss to Buford 20-25, 18-25.  Coach Drobny said this after the match, “Even though they lost, the B-Team played a great game.  The score was very close, and I was excited to see how well they did against such a tough team.”  On Thursday, the B-Team improved even more, winning one of their two games against Hebron, 7-25, 25-20.  Both teams play again next Monday, September 11, at Providence Christian Academy.  Go, Lions!
