We are so very proud of our LCA lady lions swimmers for their record setting 2021-22 swim season. This was our first ever swim team featuring only female athletes! Our Lady Lions worked hard to accomplish their goals this season, for example, Addie Godfrey trained hard to be able to swim the 500 yard freestyle in a personal best time of eight minutes. McKenna Thacker accomplished her personal best times this season, including 50 breaststroke, and the 100 yard individual medley, which qualified her for the JV championship swim meet this weekend at Georgia Tech. Also, Kendra enjoyed her very first swim season ever. When she joined the swim team she had not swam before. Now she can effectively and quickly swim back stroke and freestyle competitively. Azalea Snell has been on the team since 6th grade. She is a cross trainer and loves competing. She makes swimming look easy and swimming her personal best times was accomplished. Olivia Williams was able to qualify in two events for the JV championship swim meet and swam her personal best in all of the other events. The Championship meet is to be held this weekend at Georgia Tech.
