From the Athletic Director
At Loganville Christian Academy, students can participate in a variety of sports. Student-athletes can choose from sports such as football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming, cross country, track, tennis, golf and more. LCA even offers a clay targets program and a rodeo program. For a complete list of teams, please visit our team pages.
I encourage students to participate in as many sports as possible. Team sports provide athletes with the opportunity for life lessons, such as teamwork, self-discipline, and commitment. It also allows athletes the opportunity to grow through competition, collaboration and cooperation. Athletes also develop time management skills as they balance academics and athletics. We expect that our athletes will perform in the classroom and on the field. One of the best parts of LCA athletics is our coaches. At LCA, our coaches are intentional to glorify God by using their sport as a platform to share Christ. We are committed to love our athletes, integrate Christ’s teachings into our programs, put students in positions to use their God-given talents and create unity throughout our programs.
I hope that you will consider joining our efforts. Pray for spiritual growth in our programs. Pray that our coaches are intentional to create unity in their programs and provide another positive impact on your child’s life as our coaches look to further the foundation that you as a parent provide at home. Support our coaches and their families through prayer and words of encouragement.
Our athletic program is part of the overall mission at LCA which is to see students grow academically, socially and spiritually. We are another classroom that seeks to integrate what we do with the Word of God.
On behalf of the athletic staff, I want to thank our community, booster club, and parents for your support. Your support has recently led to the completion of our track, began development of bathroom facilities at our stadium field and many other changes in the athletic program. I am excited to see what God does through our athletic programs this year!
