The LCA MS Softball team collected a convincing victory over Athens Christian by a final score of 16-0 in less than 2 complete innings! The Ladies went a collective 17 of 21 at the plate only having four outs recorded before the run rule was invoked. The lady lions had five different players who were perfect at the plate. Blakely (Last name) pitched the two innings for the lady lions facing 10 batters, giving up 1 hit while striking out four. Emma Kate (last name) had a great game defensively patrolling centerfield and catching two fly balls. One with a runner on third that her catch and strong throw helped preserve the shutout. The MS Lady Lions will be in action at home on Thursday when they host George Walton in the regular season finale. Come on out and support the Ladies!
