The Lady Lions JV softball team ended their season picking up a win against region foe Athens Christian on Monday evening at LCA. The ladies won 11-5 putting a five-spot up in the third inning giving them a lead they would not relinquish. Elizabeth Bennett started the game for the ladies and pitched into the fifth inning. She gave up four runs on only two hits and none of the runs were earned runs. She also struck out ten batters. Molly Prince came in to close out the final two and a third innings giving up one hit and one run while recording four strikeouts herself. Offensively, five different ladies scored multiple runs. Both Bennett and Prince had two hits and scored two runs each to help themselves on the mound, while Camryn Fleming, Addi Grace Dennis, and Hannah Starling each collected a hit and scored multiple runs.
