Three Loganville Christian Academy Pitchers Rally Together In Shutout Victory Against Westminster Schools of Augusta

Loganville Christian Academy defeated Westminster Schools of Augusta 12-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Allen Brown struck out Grant Fuller to finish off the game.

Loganville Christian Academy  notched five runs in the seventh inning.  William Morris, J.R. Curley, Dalton Strickland, and Huston Morris each had RBIs in the frame.

A single by Luke Hartenburg in the first inning was a positive for Westminster Schools of Augusta.

Strickland pitched Loganville Christian Academy  to victory. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out five.  Keon McGhee and Brown entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

John McCaith started the game for Westminster Schools of Augusta. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and five runs while striking out five.  JD Kassner and Jake Heaton entered the game as relief, throwing two and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Loganville Christian Academy tallied one home run on the day. Brown went deep in the sixth inning.

Loganville Christian Academy racked up 11 hits.  Morris, Curley, Brown, and Chantz McClendon all managed multiple hits for Loganville Christian Academy .  Curley and Morris all had three hits to lead Loganville Christian Academy .

Hartenburg went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Westminster Schools of Augusta in hits.
