Three Loganville Christian Academy Pitchers Rally Together In Shutout Victory Against Westminster Schools of Augusta

Loganville Christian Academy defeated Westminster Schools of Augusta 12-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Allen Brown struck out Grant Fuller to finish off the game.

Loganville Christian Academy  notched five runs in the seventh inning.  William Morris, J.R. Curley, Dalton Strickland, and Huston Morris each had RBIs in the frame.

A single by Luke Hartenburg in the first inning was a positive for Westminster Schools of Augusta.

Strickland pitched Loganville Christian Academy  to victory. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out five.  Keon McGhee and Brown entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

John McCaith started the game for Westminster Schools of Augusta. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and five runs while striking out five.  JD Kassner and Jake Heaton entered the game as relief, throwing two and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Loganville Christian Academy tallied one home run on the day. Brown went deep in the sixth inning.

Loganville Christian Academy racked up 11 hits.  Morris, Curley, Brown, and Chantz McClendon all managed multiple hits for Loganville Christian Academy .  Curley and Morris all had three hits to lead Loganville Christian Academy .

Hartenburg went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Westminster Schools of Augusta in hits.

Lions secure the #2 seed in the first round of the GISA Playoffs and host a best 2 out of 3 series Monday(4/29) & if necessary, Tuesday(4/30). 

Loganville Christian Academy Blows Out Augusta Prep Day School Thanks To Big Second Inning

Loganville Christian Academy scored seven runs in the second on its way to a 12-2 victory over Augusta Prep Day School on Thursday. Keon McGhee, J.R. Curley, Dalton Strickland, Allen Brown, Huston Morris, and Stone McCarty all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

The Lions opened up scoring in the first inning. An error scored one run for Loganville Christian Academy.

LCA notched seven runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught came from walks by Strickland and Brown, doubles by McGhee and Curley, by McCarty, and an error on a ball put in play by Morris.

Brown took the win for Loganville Christian Academy. He allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out five and walking one. Strickland threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

A Clark led things off on the hill for Augusta Prep Day School. He went four and a third innings, allowing 12 runs on nine hits and striking out one.

LCA hit one home run on the day. Strickland had a long ball in the third inning.

The Lions totaled nine hits. Strickland and McCarty all managed multiple hits for Loganville Christian Academy . McCarty and Strickland each collected two hits to lead LCA.

Lions dominated in a no-hit victory over rival BCA last night. Keon McGhee pitched five no-hit innings to lead the Lions to a 10-0 victory.
