The Lady Lions’ Varsity Soccer Team squared off in an exciting match against Atlanta Girls’ School at home on April 16th. In what proved to be a defensive battle for both teams, the Lady Lions needed just one goal, which was delivered by Paxton Yancey late in the first half to seal off the 1-0 win. Goalkeeper Annalyn Kendall posted yet another shutout on the year, with the help of center backs Haley Herron and Katie Stueck and center holding midfelders Taylor Paschal and Grayson Stanley. This win improved the Lions’ record to 13-3 on the season. The Lady Lions’ next match will be away against Trinity Christian on 4/17 at 5:30.
