In spite of a loss to the Mustangs, the Lions continue to prove they belong in the toughest Region in Private A - Region 8. The Mustangs have an aerial attack and QB that journalists have ranked as high as the 3rd ranked passing attack in the State of Georgia. Early in the game the Mustangs had to change their game plan as the Lions were successful in defending the pass.

After getting pummeled by Westfield School’s rushing attack all night long, Loganville Christian’s defense finally bowed up and stopped the Hornets on three plays in two overtime periods to secure its first victory in a first-round high school football playoff game in four years, winning 24-17 at The Hawk Friday night.
