The LCA Clay Targets Team had an outstanding performance on Friday and Saturday, November 18th-19th at the GIAA State Clay Targets Competition held at Forest City Gun Club in Savannah.
The team placed 6th out of 18 teams in the AAA Division scoring 1298/1500 targets by our top 5 team members! Congratulations to Tattnall Square Academy for taking first place in the AAA Division.

Katie Phillips – State Champion Female Trap!! GIAA AAA Division
Katie scored 94/100 targets and captured 1st place by shoot-off against Clare Cheek of Westfield. Katie also placed 7th overall in the Open Trap Division. Way to go Katie!!
Peter Babb- State Runner-Up Open Trap GIAA AAA Division
Peter scored 98/100 targets in Trap finishing behind a 100 perfect score Blake Reed from Bulloch Academy. Great shooting Peter!!
Landon Gackle – State 3rd Place Skeet GIAA AAA Division
Landon Scored a perfect 100/100 score for the second year in a row at State!! He finished 3rd by shoot-off
behind two FPD competitors. Congratulations Landon!!
Katie Philips, Sydney Babb, and Emma Crowther placed in the top 10 female Trap Shooters in the State GIAA AAA division! Great job Ladies!
