V Softball vs Mt. Pisgah Christian
Seniors Joey Kraus and Hannah Starling led the Lady Lions Softball team to a convincing road win today at Mt. Pisgah Christian by a score of 6-0. On the mound, Hannah threw a complete game shutout allowing only 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 12 batters. Offensively, Joey turned in a perfect day at the plate going 2-for-2 with 3-RBI, a run scored, and collected two walks. In addition to her strong performance on the mound, Hannah also had two hits and scored two runs. Also tallying runs for the Lady Lions were Addy Grace Dennis and Elizabeth Bennett. The Lady Lions will be in action at home Tuesday night against Kings Ridge Christian.
V Softball @ GHSA State Round 1
Our Lady Lions concluded their season this past Thursday as they fell to Brookstone in round 1 of state. Bats were on fire throughout the doubleheader with Molly Biesiadecki feet away from a home run. Our seniors, Christy Mugomba and Molly Biesiadecki, know what it means to finish strong, having some of their best performances offensively and defensively of the season.
