The LCA Boys Varsity Soccer team played in a non-region match against The King’s Academy Junior Varsity team on May 1, 2018 and lost 3-1. Our overall record is 1-11-1 and region record is 0-8-0. Zach Bruno did a great job on defense and Bryson Franklin scored a deserved goal.
First Lions Track and Field State Meet in the Books
Taurrya finished 16th overall...3ft under her personal best. So much room for potential with this being her first year throwing. Hats off to our only senior and female finishing 16th in the state! Girls rock!
The boys ran the race of their lives shattering their PR of 3:56 to 3:41 in the 4x400 relay today. I couldn’t ask for anything more. We didn’t make the finals but everyone did what they were suppose to do on their relay splits. They represented the Lions well. Good job, guys!
Junior represented well in 100m running a season’s best of 11.5 finishing 5th overall. He burned up the track! It’s a huge accomplishment to say you are the top 5 in the state in the 100m. The lions are fast. Good job, Dana!
Junior & Brian finished 5th & 6th in the 200m. Brian ran a PR of 24.01 and Junior ran 23.5 (1/10th off his PR). Good job to them both! Today was a great day for the Lions Track & Field history books.
Lady Lions Soccer Advance to our first ever Playoff Game in Team History
Huge congrats to our Lady Lions Soccer team and Head Coach, Chris Keller, on advancing to our first ever playoff game in team history. Our Lady Lions will travel to Westminster School of Augusta on Friday for a 5:30pm match. They will look to continue their post-game celebration of the win by "jumping for joy" Go Lady Lions!
