Myles Ailster and Alex Noblett finished 1-2 in the 110 and 300 hurdles - both running PRs in both events.

The qualifiers will head to State Thursday morning.

Some of our middle school runners ran in the Middle School State Championship at Parkview High School. The meet was open to every 6th, 7th, and 8th grader in Georgia with more than 1500 runners entered in the meet. The weather was horrible, but the Lions toughed it out and put out some good performances in the cold, rain, and wind.

Emery Loyless and Penelope Pourchier ran the 3200, with Penelope setting a school record in the 3200, running 14:06.

Azalea Snell finished as the second 6th grader in the 800, 4th 6th grader in the mile.

Isabelle Gary and Teagan Swanepoel ran great races in the 100 and 300 hurdles.

Corbin Smith finished the season strong with a great race in the mile and the 800.

Dachelle Lucas battled it out in the 100, 200, and 400, running near her best times despite a strong headwind on the homestretch.
