What a day at the Christian Taylor Invite. The Lions had a day full of season and personal bests. Several Lions attempted field events for the first time. Their courage and willingness to try something new was inspiring and we even scored some points and uncovered some potential in the process.
With more than 1500 entries in the meet and some of the events having upwards of 40 heats, the Lions rose to the challenge running more than 30 season and personal bests in the meet. Way to go, Lions!

Caleb Gary made a strategic move in the mile that opened the door for him to run a 12-second personal best. It was cool to see that aha moment for him as he made the decision to bridge a gap to the group in front of him.
Our high school boys 4x400 A team ran an unbelievable race that ended in a photo finish with Hunter Hampton giving everything to hold on for the heat win. They ran a 12-second best time, putting them as the current fastest time in the state for GISA.
