The Lions had a great showing in Social Circle in the Redskins Invite on 9/26.
The middle school boys placed FIRST with three in the Top 10: Chris Morton, 2nd; Teagan Swanepoel, 6th; and Bryce Browne, 8th.
Our middle school girls placed fourth with two in the Top 10: Azalea Snell, 1st and Penelope Pourchier, 6th.
The varsity boys continue to race hard and chip away at their 5K times. They stand a solid chance to qualify as a team for state and the course in Albany will be fast and flat – perfect opportunity for big PRs.
Chloe Helsens is holding her own in big varsity races, despite being our only varsity girl.
We had 8 runners participate in the FCA 5K in Loganville last weekend, along with a 3rd grade sibling, Andrew Poston.

Middle School and Varsity will compete in the Walton County Championship on Tuesday at Loganville High School.
Middle School will travel to a Cochran on 10/12 to compete in the Georgia Middle School State Meet with more than 60 middle schools across the state.
