Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions Overcome Twiggs Academy In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning

Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions managed through a push by Twiggs Academy in the first inning where the Lady Lions coughed up three runs, but Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions still won 11-3 on Saturday. Madisonand Haleigh each drove in runs during the inning.

The lady Lions fired up the offense in the first inning. Cassie Boatright drove in one when she doubled.

Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions put up four runs in the fourth inning. Boatright, Allie Hughes, and Haley Biesiadecki all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Hughes got the win for the Lady Lions. She allowed seven hits and three runs over four and two-thirds innings, walking one. Hannah Starling threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Abbie took the loss for Twiggs Academy. She allowed 11 hits and nine runs over three and a third innings.

Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions racked up 14 hits in the game. Boatright, Hughes, Starling, Nicole Parkerson, and Biesiadecki each managed multiple hits for Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions. Hughes and Boatright each collected three hits to lead the Lady Lions.

Lady Lions are 7-1 on the season and in 1st place in Region 1.
