Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions Win Over Archer

Cassie Boatright would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Saturday, driving in five on two hits to lead the Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions past Archer JV 13-5 on Saturday. Boatright drove in runs on a double in the first, a triple in the second, a walk in the fifth, and a walk in the sixth.

The Lady Lions got things moving in the first inning, when Boatright doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

The Lady Lions tallied four runs in the second inning and put the pressure on, lead by a triple by Boatright and an error on a ball put in play by Nicole Parkerson.

Allie Hughes earned the victory in the circle for the Lady Lions. She went four innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out four. Hannah Starling threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Starling recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Loganville Christian Academy.

Mallory Tullis took the loss for Archer JV. She surrendered eight runs on three hits over two innings, striking out four.

The Lady Lions collected six hits. Haley Biesiadecki and Boatright all collected multiple hits. Boatright and Biesiadecki each collected two hits to lead the Lady Lions.
