Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions defeated Gatewood 17-3 on Tuesday thanks to a timely nine runs in a big first inning. The Lady Lions big bats in the inning were led by singles by Molly Biesiadecki and Megan Harris and a triple by Cassie Boatright.
Loganville Christian Academy opened up scoring in the first inning, when Boatright tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Hannah Starling was the winning pitcher for the Lady Lions. She lasted four innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out ten and walking zero.
The Lady Lions had nine hits in the game. Biesiadecki and Harris all managed multiple hits. Biesiadecki led the Lady Lions with three hits in four at bats.
