It came down to the last play, but Loganville Christian Academy Lions were on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat to Dominion Christian on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with Dominion Christian batting in the bottom of the seventh when Hayden McCrary singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Dominion Christian pitchers struck out 13, while The Lions sat down nine.
Logan Ehorn led the Dominion Christian to victory on the pitcher's mound. He went one and one-third innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out three and walking one.
Michael Caldwell started the game for Dominion Christian. He lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out ten.
