Congratulations to the Clay Targets Team for their best finish ever!

Thanks to everyone who helped make last Saturday the best day of our Clay Target Team history!  LCA finished in 2nd place out of 8 schools participating the meet.  Only Tattnall Square from Macon outscored our team. And not only that but LCA actually outscored last year's SCTP state champions, Lake Oconee Academy!  Our high scorer, Jacob Dudik, tied for 2nd in Trap and finished 5th Overall with a score of 161 out of 175.  Second place on LCA's team was a tie between Zach Bruno and Will Anderson both shooting 145.  Next was Gabrielle Berry with a 142 and Eric Heit and Dalton Skipper w/ 140's.

A special congratulations goes to Michael McIntosh for shooting his first 25 of 25 round and for doing it during competition!  Jacob Dudik shot three 24's while Zach Bruno and Gabrielle Berry shot individual 24's.

Hosting the event would not have been possible without the efforts of a large group of our parents. These men and women braved repeated downpours, to put on a top flight event.  They did everything from keeping targets in the throwers, recording scores for our squads, taking registrations, selling raffle tickets and maintaining a live leader board throughout a very long day!   Thank you to everyone who helped make an awesome day possible.  And a big thanks goes to the folks from Halo Construction for sponsoring the meet.
