Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions Grab Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Heritage

Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions defeated Heritage 7-5 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at five with the Lady Lions batting in the top of the seventh when Hannah Starling grounded out, scoring one run.

The Lady Lions earned the victory despite allowing Heritage to score three runs in the third inning. Heritage scored its runs on a single by Daniel.

The Lady Lions knotted the game up at five in the top of the sixth inning. A wild pitch by Daniel scored one run for LCA.

The Lady Lions scored four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was driven by a single by Allie Hughes, a single by Haley Biesiadecki, a error, and a groundout.

Kirstie Busbee earned the win for the Lady Lions. She tossed six and a third innings, allowing five runs, nine hits, and striking out three.

LCA had ten hits in the game. Molly BiesiadeckiBusbee, and Taurrya Owens each collected multiple hits. Hannah StarlingHughesOwens, and Biesiadecki each drove in one run to lead the Lady Lions.

With the win the Lady Lions are tied for first place in the Region 1.
