Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions Grab Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over FCA-GA


Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions defeated FCA-GA 6-1 on Saturday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with the Lady Lions batting in the top of the fifth when Taurrya Owens singled, driving in two runs.

The Lady Lions took an early lead in the first inning. Kirstie Busbee singled on a 2-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the third inning, FCA-GA tied things up at one. #8 grounded out, scoring one run.

The Lady Lions scored three runs in the seventh inning. The big inning was driven by a double by Busbee, a fielder's choice by Hannah Starling, and a single by Molly Biesiadecki.

The Lady Lions had 11 hits in the game. Cassie BoatrightBusbeeTaurrya Owens, and Allie Hughes each collected multiple hits. HughesOwensBusbee, and Boatright each collected two hits to lead the Lady Lions.
