Pinewood Christian Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory

The Loganville Christian Academy Lady Lions fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 14-1 loss to Pinewood Christian on Saturday. Pinewood Christian scored on a single by Anderson, a double by Bell, a walk by Howard, a walk by Jernigan, a passed ball during Lewis's at bat, and a single by Rogers in the first inning.

The Lady Lions struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Pinewood Christian, giving up 14 runs.

Pinewood Christian opened up scoring in the first inning. Anderson drove in one when she singled.

Waters got the start for Pinewood Christian. She surrendered one run on one hit over four innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Hannah Starling was on the mound for Loganville Christian Academy. She went two innings, allowing 13 runs on seven hits. Kirstie Busbee and Allie Hughes entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Cassie Boatright went 1-for-2 at the plate with a solo home run, scoring LCA only run.
